This is a mode in the Brawl Stars,Gem Grab.

Brawl Star is a free-to-play, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) and hero shooter mobile game developed by Supercell. Released in 2018 for iOS and Android, the game features fast-paced 3v3 battles, a battle royale mode, and dozens of unique characters called Brawlers. 

Gameplay and Brawlers

  • Brawlers: Players choose from a large roster of Brawlers, each with unique abilities, including a basic attack and a powerful "Super" attack.

  • Upgrades and power-ups: You can upgrade your Brawlers using in-game currencies like Coins and Power Points. You can also equip them with special abilities like Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharges.

  • Starr Road: Since 2022, the "Starr Road" has been the main way to unlock new Brawlers by collecting Credits. You can choose which Brawler to work toward unlocking at any time.

  • Brawl Pass: This battle pass system rewards players with various items as they earn XP from playing matches. A premium "Brawl Pass Plus" is also available for purchase with real money.

  • Clubs and Ranked Mode: Players can join clubs to participate in events like the monthly Mega Pig. A Ranked mode also allows players to climb competitive leaderboards and earn exclusive rewards.

Game modes

  • Showdown: A battle royale mode where 10 players (solo or in duos/trios) fight to be the last one standing on a shrinking map.

  • Brawl Ball: A soccer-style mode where two teams of three players try to score two goals before the opposing team does.

  • Gem Grab: Two teams of three compete to collect and hold at least 10 gems for 15 seconds to win the match.

  • Bounty/Wipeout: Deathmatch modes where teams earn points by defeating opponents. In Bounty, Brawlers are worth more points for each kill, while in Wipeout, the first team to 10 or 20 points wins.

  • Heist: Teams try to destroy their opponent's safe, which is located near their spawn point, before the other team destroys theirs.

  • Hot Zone: A "king of the hill" mode where teams gain points by occupying designated areas on the map.

  • Knockout: A deathmatch mode in which players cannot respawn during a round. The first team to win two rounds wins the game.

  • Subway Surfers event: A collaboration event with Subway Surfers is running until September 30, 2025. It includes the new Subway Run game mode, skins, and special power-ups called Subway Supers.

  • New Brawler release events: New Brawlers like Ziggy and Mina were introduced through special 10-day events that give players a chance to earn them for free at max level.

  • New logo: A new, streamlined logo was introduced to better emphasize the "Brawl" part of the name and improve its appearance in various contexts.

  • Ranked Pro Pass: A new Ranked pass system was introduced that resets every four seasons in conjunction with major esports events.

  • Subway Surfers Crossover: A collaboration event with Subway Surfers is currently running until September 30, 2025. It includes a new game mode, special modifiers, and exclusive cosmetic rewards.

  • New Brawlers:

    • Mina: A Mythic Brawler with a unique combo attack that cycles through different ranges. Her Super deals heavy damage and knocks up opponents.

    • Ziggy: A new Brawler whose main attack summons lightning at a target location and whose Super unleashes a powerful electrical storm.

  • Logo update: Supercell released a new, updated logo for Brawl Stars in September 2025, modernizing the brand's visual identity.

  • Global pricing changes: In early September 2025, price adjustments for in-app purchases were rolled out for over 100 countries in various regions.

  • Brawl Stars Championship: The Last Chance Qualifier for the 2025 World Finals is set to take place in Brazil from October 10–12, 2025, where 16 teams will compete for the final spots in the World Finals. 

Reception and availability

  • The game received generally mixed to positive reviews upon release, earning a 72/100 on Metacritic.

  • Brawl Stars has been praised for its fast-paced gameplay, varied modes, character progression, and bright, cartoonish graphics.

  • Some reviewers have noted issues with matchmaking, controls feeling less responsive at times, and a grindy progression system without spending money.

  • The game is available for free on iOS and Android devices, with some items available for purchase with real money through microtransactions.

  • It is also possible to play the game on Windows PCs using an emulator.
